My inspiration comes from the nature around me which supplies me with endless design possibilities. More importantly, connecting to Nature gives insight into the mystery of life and death. I have come to realize that the spirit within is the spirit throughout.

Being from Texas, Country & Western and Native American themes are reflected in many pieces. My work is also influenced by Japanese art of printmaking and tattooing. These cultures and their art are rich in nature, life and storytelling.

Working with metal and creating things by hand has been an escape from an age of technology, a way to connect and communicate with nature, people, and myself.
